hi urchins!

i'm ernest a life time supporter of the urchins, just wanted to bring to your attention one of the promising youngsters in our reserves.....johnny elmes! elmesy is definately one of the best youngsters at the club i've seen in a few years, his had bad injuries of late but his composure on the ball & his reading of the game from the back is excellent! is all very good having big name & big money players but don't you want to see our local boys do well?

lets all get behind players like elmesy!

Agree with you by the way, not just about young Elms but about the youth policy as a whole, we have a lot of good youngsters who will be given their chance in due course, (john is still injured by the way) and of course it is up to the youngsters as well, they have to play their part and train hard and maintain commitment to the club.

 

As for high profile, highly paid players, well, they are here for a reason although I think that they would disagree about being highly paid!!!! their job is to maintain the current promotion push, set the standards required for the future and also bring through the younger players. Did you know ernie that the professionals at the club train every monday and friday in between 11am and 1pm, the youngsters must try and find the time to join them. nonetheless, agree with you that young Elms is a good player and indeed there are lots of fine young promsing players at HFC. We all hope that they come through and save us money on future transfer fees!!!!!!!

talking about youngsters, what about these kids in the urchin gear and the singing, its great and they must be encouraged to bring their mates down. you can see urchin shirts all over uppminster and hornchurch, what a change around in the past year, keep it up urchins, its great to be on the move. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/beerchug.gif" alt="" />
