Justin Skinner and James Pinnock

Very pleased with these two signings. Think Pinnock will link up well with Danny. We needed a specialist left back too and Skinner fits the bill perfectly.

Two signings to go and that's the first team squad? What do you say?

Cant wait for the beginning of the new season. Skinner is a class signing.

Pinnocks stats can be viewed at:

Seems to have played 43 matches & scored 13 goals in his career so far.

Good signings the pair. Good to see so much information & organisation i=this early in the year. Well done RT

Got to agree with you there JJ about Donovan.

Pinnock was a "loss" to us I thought though not sure why he left. Went for better class football maybe when he departed from us previously.(wasnt he just on loan?).I'm not one for seeing tried players returning but in this instance it is an excellent move.A good forward indeed. Has that extra bit of class. Will work well with Danny I'm sure. Skinner too, though I am just going on reports about him as I cant recall actually noticing him in games I have seen of the fleet(hardly any),but those reports show him to be a very good player too.As Taffy says "it just gets better all the time".

Am I correct in saying that a large majority of the players recently signed have all played with each other on occasions.Good that they know each other & how the others play. New signings they might be to us, but them knowing each other from the past surely gives us/team an added advantage over other clubs where new players are complete strangers and will need time to get to know each other.Thats vital time saved from our part I feel.Should give us an edge, early season games, at the very very least.Terrific signings & all credit to Robin,& those that are putting their hands in their pockets so that these signatures can & have be secured.

Skins will be a suberb signing. A feisty, feiry left back, tough tackling, lives to go forward, and doesn't redort to the big hoof. (the other reason he left us)Also used to be our penalty taker 6/6 two seasons ago.

Pinns is happier playing behind a single striker or as a forward playing midfielder. Never got the number of goals he should have. Good creator and full of running.
