Anyone else as excited as me that we're getting our first chance to see the 'new' boys in action?!

 

I know it's only a friendly and the result is irrelivant, but today we as fans can set a prescident for the coming season by showing our support to the team and setting the standard as we mean to go on!!!

I actually prefer that shirt to last seasons one.

 

I was over at Burnham Ramblers with the kids - didn't realise they were playing Hornchurch in a friendly so went and had a quick peak. Saw a second half goal which was taken rather well by Hx.

 

What sort of crowd did we have at the Lane?

I thought everyone played really well today. They were all up for the challenge and seemed so lively and gave it their all. For me personally, I think a special mention goes to Ryan Edgar, who I thought was totally superb! He was today, what I wish Jeff Minton had been all last season!

They're not bad actually considering the camera I was using. The one of Corbell is out of focus, but I thought it was alright from being taken across the other side of the pitch.

 

I might try again on Tuesday depending on the light. Must remember to take a bigger memory card with me though! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/doah.gif" alt="" />
