a good start to the season and a good result from a tough fixture...excellent first half from us with several good chances going missing...gary cross 37 minutes and the second from a janners penalty on 56...we went deep after that which was scrappy and they took control and could have levelled it but 3 points and onwards...well done everyone especially the fans about 150 of us...

 

nice people and a nice friendly club ...

Good to meet a few of you guys today, especially the lovely Nette.

 

I am obviously biased but felt that you shaded the first half and the start of the second. After we pulled one back we took control and hit te woodwork twice. I felt that a draw would have beena bout right but well done and good luck for the rest of the season. Hopefully the banter on these fora will get better.

 

By the way, was Westy owl watching with Easty today...the pair of gayers!
