Lato, I think you'll give the townies a very good game. I'm going to predict a draw but for them to win at home. I think home advantage could work well for you guys!!

Thanks guys for your support. We'll give it a go but it could end up anything as we are I think going to be wildly unpredictable this season.

Yeh should be interesting - Langford collapsed bigtime in the 2nd period so i wonder how the fans will perceive this. Also i wonder how my 2nd goal looked from the sidelines!!

Rhodes should be quaking in his boots - night games at home we are a different side!

Having just looked on Langford's site for a report I see that they are advertising for a programme editor and web administrator so presumably Red_Robbo isn't doing it anymore. A real shame if thats the case as I have always been impressed with his work.

RobbieO - You are stealing my lines, how dare you. AWK - Agreed and I wonder why, I thought Red Robbo had red Langford blood running through his veins and his ashes would be scattered on the hallowed Forde Park turf. How did you get on today incidentally, I'm waiting for the SSML bulletin to be e-mailed out any moment now, I assume you heard we won again!

Oi the Challenge Trophy is ours! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Now your just showing off <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yes Rhodes a 4-0 win (the results are on football Mitoo if your interested). Any win against a Bedford Valerio United side would have been good but by doing so with such a scoreline is very impressive. Was the match as one sided as the result suggests?

AWK - I don't think I should answer that for fear of contradiction by certain people on here and risk being accused of going over board, lets just leave the result to do the talking although our third goal, direct from a free kick, did remind me a bit of a Rivelinho effort in Mexico 1970.

I can understand that, with all the teams from all over the country you could have drawn it must be dissapointing to come up against a team that you play in the same league as. Out of interest who would you have liked to have faced in the next round should you have had the choice?

Though the talk of 1970's Brazil is very entertaining your team does seem to be backing your belief that they are good enough to put on a promotion challenge even in these early days.

Out of interest, will your next home match be played at Hendon?

Difficult one to answer. Probably AFC Wimbledon (away) of the teams in at this stage.

I have a feeling that AFC Wimbledon would have been high on anyones list at this stage for a number of reasons.

With any luck you will get them in the next round. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
