FAO Lato @ Rak

Recommended Posts

Lato - I meant to mention that Julian Hudson kindly came to watch the already legendary Hendon v Kentish Town friendly on Thursday, I had an interesting chat with him about why he left Grosvenor Vale.

I presume he came to watch Rak.

I've had a chat with him about why he left RMFC. I've also had a conversation with the manager so I can form my own view based on a balanced opinion which I have. And before you ask no I am not prepared to share it with you.

No I don't think Julian came to watch Rak on Thursday, he appeared more interested in watching us perform and like everybody else in the ground couldn't believe his eyes at what he was seeing. I am not really one for balanced opinions, Julian told me he was harshly treated by Manor when he was in the process of making giant strides and that's good enough for me as that appeared to be the case taking your results into account at the time including the solid wins at Brimsdown and Tiptree.

Potters Bar Town - Why do you say that, Julian used to manage Kentish Town and knows most of the players, he stood there open mouthed at what he was seeing last Thursday, his jaw was almost on the floor.

Presumably because he couldn't believe that anyone would take so many risks with players 43 hours before an important league game?

Way back in 1966-67 Luton played and beat Exeter City 2-0 in the FA Cup on a Thursday, two days later we lost a League match 1-8 to Lincoln City who were bottom of the Football League at the time, and finished there at the end of the season.

The defeat was put down by the players to playing on the Thursday and Luton Town have never played on a Thursday since (obviously not including Boxing Day/New Years Day fixtures).

MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY - Has anybody seen Lato in their travels, expected on here at 16.22 precisely yesterday but never arrived, feared missing or abducted by aliens. A rough description off the top of my head, a stocky figure about 5 foot 6 inches tall, dark haired with glasses, last seen in the West London area.

You are a very sad man Rhodes...a very sad man indeed. You also have no sense of height do you. If I am 5ft 6 that must make Horace the same size, PBT about 5ft 7, MB100 about 4ft 11 and HTFCONE will be about 5ft 8 maybe a tadge short for a goalkeeper

I looked into it and "Spamming is considered posting multiple messages that repeat the same thing."

Aren't you more guilty of this than me re your posts about the Haringey website???
