A few good matches there I think!

Who would we like to get in the 4th Qualifying Round?

Any Kent club, Welling United, Fisher Atletic or Met. Police would be good.

I think the draw is on Mon. 16th Oct. at 12pm (around that time). the draw should be on http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/TheFACup/

Who's that team playing Guiseley???

Why would you want to draw Welling or Fisher, who have a reasonable chance of beating us? Also, consider the potential embarrassment factor of defeat in a Kent derby.

In theory, the ideal draw would be at home against a side near the bottom of their division, hence avoiding a tie against a side lower down the pyramid but near the top of their table and therefore full of confidence (e.g. Boreham Wood last season).

Local derby's will make a bigger game with bigger attendances, make more of an atmosphere.

But they wouldn't offer crowds and atmosphere as great as those for a potential first round tie against a League One side, the chances of reaching which would be increased should we play the fourth qualifying round against lower-ranked and more demoralized opposition.

I presume the 4th. Qualifying round stays regionalised, certainly North and South.

In which I case I predict yet another 'banana skin' away tie against the likes of Fisher Athletic, Welling United, AFC Wimbledon, Bedford Town, Bromley, Salisbury, Kings Lynn, Margate or dare I even think about it.....Kettering Town.

Humorously, Margate were knocked out 2-1 at home to Potters Bar Town. Tonbridge Angels managed to go through, with a 2-1 win at Cheshunt. Dover also went through, winning 3-2 to Heybridge Swifts, with the great Billy Bone bagging a goal. Bromley are also in the next round, winning at Hayes. Welling drew 1-1 at Hornchurch, both teams I'd rather avoid in the draw.

Basically, a home tie against Tonbridge or Dover would be ideal, and we'd rather avoid Merthyr Tydfil and Newport Co., because they're fecking miles away.
