Hope your keeper is Ok. Please let us know on our forum if you can.

very best wishes to him, and a speedy recovery. No one likes to see injuries to a player in such an important match.

Thanks for your concern, always good to hear from the opposition's fans! Good luck against Aldershot, we would love to see them get beaten.

I'm sure we can let you know how Lance is doing.

If Lance Cronin is going to be out for a week or two, I sincerely hope that LD considers bringing in a temporary replacement on loan as I don't think that Mott is up to the task, despite his adequate performance on Saturday.

In anycase the club will need to bring in another 'keeper as not having a substitute goalkeeper on the bench is asking for trouble.

Sorry KShep gotta agree with QCS on this one. Making a few saves against a Ryman Prem outfit is a little different to the pounding that he could receive at Morecambe on Saturday.

True, but I think we're all intrigued as to what Q is basing his opinion on that Mott isn't up to it. Yes, he kept a clean sheet against Chelmsford, probably not a big deal... but he didn't drop any clangers either.

He may indeed not be up to it, but like the rest of us, Q hasn't really had the opportunity to judge.

And his judgement up to now (Daish out, etc) has hardly been foolproof!

Sorry to dip my fly in the ointment here, but what is the point of having a reserve keeper if his cannot " fill in" when number one is injured ?

I assume that the club will have to pay the wages of any player that comes in on loan ( and I stand to be corrected if I am wrong ) so where's that money going to come from then ?

Cheers,
