Personally i thought it was a poor performance all round. Both Crace and Hammett were poor. Paul Campbell had a bad game and Hunt wasn't great. Dean should not have been allowed to take the penalty. Finally why did we keep letting Steve Magona takes all those free kicks which consistently went into the keepers hands.

Agree on most counts actually, though your previous post does you no credit at all. It was a poor TEAM performance, although we still did create enough chances to have got something from the game. As for Dean being 'allowed' to take the penalty, it seems that we don't seem to have a designated taker in Rudi's absence, and anyone who can grab the ball and look confident (which Dean did until the ball left his boot) seems entitled to have a crack at the moment.

Which is the worst sin then, to fail to connect with a swirling cross or fail to hit the target with a stationary ball from twelve yerds?

With an open goal in front of him, I was left wondering why he went for the "Andy Gray-esque" diving header when it seemed more easy to put it in with either foot!

As for the worst sin they were as bad as each other but Crace took our last pen & scored, why then did he not grab the ball?

ou are in a minority of one if you seriously believe that to be anything other than desperately unlucky!

He was unlucky, and he did well to get to the ball ahead of the defender and the keeper. But having managed such good work, a straighter lob would have resulted in Town coming away with a point instead of a defeat. As such,it was a chance missed.

One or two half chances! The first was a 'gilt edged chance' with an open goal infront of Bryan Hammatt! How much more of a chance did he need?

Congratulations Andy! Wondered who the first poster would be to say that it was all Bryan's fault.

Which is the worst sin then, to fail to connect with a swirling cross or fail to hit the target with a stationary ball from twelve yerds?

Just where in the world on my posting does it state that it was 'all Bryan's fault'?

I don't think its a case of, those who are fans of Bryan on one side and those who hate him on the other. We all watch the same game.

Some fans think that Bryan giving 100% every game, and the fact that they accept what Jim says, that he does a lot of work off the ball, means they are willing to accept his faults more than others. They also think that any criticism of him hinders his play and as a result the performance of the team.As such, they encourage him when a mistake is made, rather than get exaperated like those on the other side of the fence.

I personally appreciate Bryans committment and workrate. What i don't appreciate is him being immune from being dropped or subbed when he deserves to be so.I've got a feeling that that causes resentment amounts those players who ARE constantly subbed or put on the bench.Which in itself cannot be good for moral.

There have been times both this season and last, where Bryan HAS deserved his place. The last few games before Saturday for example. But if Jim is so unconvinced of our alternative forward options to drop Bryan when hes not delivering or performing, then he really should have brought in quality back-up for the forward line, not only in order to be able to replace under performing strikers when needed, but also to keep those said strikers on their toes.

I say it as i see it.Bryan had a good game against Harlow,a poor one against Waltham Forest.End Of!

PS..We could do a lot worse than put in a 7 dayer for Mr Gabriel.Although he would probably require a decent expenses package in order to be pursauded to move.

In defence of Bryan the cross came at an awkward height and I don't think he was expecting it: I certainly expected Matty to shoot. I got the impression that Bryan was looking for a possible rebound.

I also noticed that while the nonsense with the keeper was going on he put an arm round Dean Nyman's shoulder and had a quiet word of encouragement. That's what captaincy is about.

Disappointing match but I think Waltham Forest should be given more credit for their performance than I have read in this chain.

Yes there were some BAD challenges, but they played better football than a couple of other teams we have lost to this year. Redbridge spring to mind. The Waltham Forest front two were a handful all game. They will be difficult to beat at their place, especially now the weather is getting worse.

We COULD have nicked a draw, if Kojo's lob had drifted in instead of inches past the post, or if Crace had taken the penalty. But they hit the inside of the post in the first half. They deserved the points.

9 points from the last 12 is not bad. Need a win this Friday night, mind.

The mere fact we can identify every attack by town says bucket-loads. Not good enough. Daniel would be a great addition but the player I'd drop has already been mentioned!

Well it was the only thing you saw fit to mention.

So we have to comment on everything or nothing at all? Are we getting to the point where no one can criticise anyone?
