Any new Supporters Team Info & updates on upcoming fixtures?

Hi everyone, just wondering whether the proposed fixture against canvey island (Sat jan 6th) has been confirmed?

Was there a video filmed of fixture vs ramsgate? Is there going to be a man of the match vote for fixture vs ramsgate or is the whole squad going to be awarded it?

Are there going to be any training sessions held over the festive period?

Also just to thank everyone who came and supported us on sun and all the players for making me feel part of the team as I don't really know you all yet! Can't wait to come and sing with you all on Boxing Day!

I'll try and answer all your questions Lloydy, the Canvey Island match won't be going ahead i'm afraid, although we will look into getting over there for a match sometime in the future

As far as I know the R**sgate game wasn't filmed, and the man of the match was you Lloydy!

We will be training Friday 22nd of December on Tivoli at 12 noon. All are welcome to come along.

I can also announce that our next match will be Sunday 14th of January against Dover. The match will be a 1:30pm kickoff and we are looking for a referee. If anyone is interested in either playing or refereeing then PM me or leave a message for me on the forum.

Cheers

Merry Christmas to one and all!

Surely it was Frankie Mark, that sliding tackle he did face first was pure genius

Thank you for replying swiftly Mark, its a shame about the Canvey match it would of been good preparation for the Dover match (another local derby), cant wait! Is it at home or away?

Is'nt Cookie going to ref as I thought he did a really good job for our first two matches!

Thank you for giving me man of the match I feel encouraged to keep playing to a higher level hopefully in future matches! But I thought the whole squad are equally deserving as everyone played their part equally in face of adversity against very difficult odds! Bring on the re-match!

I'll look forward to seeing you and the lads on fri for training, hopefully we'll get a good turn out to able to practise more set plays and drills!

Well put Alan, that has to be comedy moment of the match or was it me hitting rob butler in the crown jewels with a full-blooded clearance?

The Dover game is home, they are looking foward to it, they have plenty of SUPPORTERS who will play so no chance of another R**sgate farce.

Unfortunatly Cookie is unable to ref this game, I do have another guy I could get to do it, but thought I'd see if anyone on here would fancy giving it a go.

I agree that it was a good team effort, but most of the lads agreed that you were solid as a rock all game and fully deserved the MOM award.

See You on Friday

Thank you Alex, I think that you played well when you came on in the second half especially as you where playing out of position! A saw you win a few 50/50 tackles and clear well in dangerous situations you are improving everytime I see you play!

I to am up for a match against slough, but I'm always up for a match!

Well played Lloydy, you were definitely my man of the match. Looking forward to Friday. I would like to play Slough and I am going to have to look into people taking cars and doing a pick up from Hartsdown for this to be possible. I'm guessing we would have to leave at around 8am on the Saturday morning for a kick off around 11am.
