The line-up for Sunday's Celebrity match is now almost complete. Celebrities expected are:- Luther Blisset, Nigel Gibbs, Graham Stuart (ex-Chelsea), Warren Barton (ex-Newcastle etc), Steve Sedgeley (ex Spurs), Iwan Thomas MBE & Darren Campbell, Nigel Winterburn, D J Spooney, Scott Oakes, John Dreyer, Cyrille Regis, Jez Edwards, Mike McLean, Jeff Brazier, Colin Salmon, Alan Parris, Jeff Hamlett.

 

In addition a number of City Legends will be taking part, some more than others!

 

John Mitchell, Kevin Mudd, Peter Risley, John Colfer, Andy Polston, Martin Gurney, Allan Cockram, Steve Walduck & Lenny Piper although Mitchell & Gurney are unable to play at all and Muddy, Walduck and Polston are not expected to last long! Peter Risley wants a full 90 mins apparently!

 

We also have the Lord McNally Cup for girls prior to kick-off and there will be a hardest shot competition for different age groups with a special first prize in each. There will also be a raffle and an auction in the bar afterwards of signed shirts. We have a Spurs shirt (includes Darren Bent, Robbie Keane etc), a framed Sunderland Championship Shirt (2006/07), and a framed Aston Villa from last season. We will also have a Saints shirt with Celebrity United signatures.

 

Admission is £10.00 Adults, £5.00 Concessions and £3.00 Juniors and we will be supporting Grove House Hospice in St Albans as our chosen charity.

 

The new kit will be unveiled and our special guest will be Mark Dawe the principal of Main Sponsors Oaklands College.
