Great result there!!

 

Just pray there's a result in the Bryco game tonight otherwise we willl be in a fixture pileup situation with Hendon having to play another game and our situation getting worse.

Currently 0-0 in extra time.

7 points becomes 5.. maidenhead are a tough team to beat this season..a 90th minuter is a real sickener and could take the wind out of a teams sails but i think aldershot have enough seasoned pros to keep their cool this season.. we have to keep the pressure on this saturday!!!!

Someone please tell me there isnt a hidden agenda to keep the money in this league. The referee was diabolical and the assisstants were just as bad. Lots and lots of poor tackles going in un-punished by even a free kick. Niki Bull strtchered off. The ref made sure they had enough time to score and blew straight after."

 

"Our second half performance was like watching a bunch of school kids all chasing the ball. No organisation, no one to hold up the ball in there half it just kept coming back for us to defend.

Please let this be our last blip of the season and lets smash six past Hampton on Saturday and show we still want to win this league."

mmm they dont seem happy with the performance but lets face it,if they had held on for a win it would have been a 'well dug out victory' 'backs to the wall stuff' 'picking up points whe playing badly' etc etc. ahh the fragility of football..(now where have i heard that before)

Must be the only time, I've celebrated a Maidenhead goal!!

 

Followed the match on scorecheck and when it got to 9.40 and there was no fulltime result got that feeling that maybe Maidenhead might have snatched something.

 

Still some way to go and we can't afford any slip ups but five points isn't alot to make up.

The best part about the Aldershot/Maidenhead game is it looks like some of the highlights will be on Football Focus on Saturday afternoon!!!

If we win all three of our games, then yep, we're in with a shout, but I'd say in all honesty we've got too many games to play. Especially now we've got another two against you.

Looking on the Shots message board, that expert predicter Manchu has upset them by saying he didn't see them beating the Magpies. Seems he has been right in his theories for some months. In turn he has stated he will not post again on their board. He doesn't come on this board, perhaps its because he said he thinks we will do it!! Was certainly right on tonights result!
