Good game today. Sudbury were well and truly "mugged". Tilbury had one decent goal chance and took it - so credit to them. Sudbury created loads of chances but failed to capitalise. If Tilbury play the same sort of game against us in the League Cup then, on the evidence of today, we have little to fear. But, as someone once said - it's a funny old game.

I enjoyed the company of the Sudbury lads. They are a great bunch. But the day was seriously spoilt as I went through the turnstiles. "One please", I said. "Senior Citizen?" the gateman enquired !!! I was so shocked that I said "no". Hopefully his eyesight was worse than mine! First time anyone has taken me as a wrinkly - so I shall remember that day.

 

Walk from the station was interesting. Plenty of broken glass and rubbish on the pavement.
