Speculation on the Margate site that he's signed for us...If he has we could well be playing five at the back next yr and hoof football upto the big target man that Andy wants to play alongside Liam...Looks like 1-0 is the way forward.

Perhaps he is due to sign ....Only reporting speculation!! Still, if we were to sign him would be a very good signing.

I spoke to Lee Shearer yesturday when Kent played Surrey. I asked him were he moved to and he said Gravesend.

Straight from the horses mouth!

Didn't he get outed at Margate because of an attitude problem?

Who cares...Dover loved him, Margate fans thought he was class..If he signs its great news..Fridge, Trott and Shearer in a back five..Awesome defence.

Think him and CK were having arguments.

Hope shearer does well at his new home. All the best to him.

So you have consigned Adrian Pennock to the reserves then Matt. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I don't think Sam Sodje hasn't signed for Margate yet.....if we want one of their defenders we might as well get the best.

yep, he is a good defender. It was a shame about his brother. Such a powerful shot, and he turns out to have no accuracy and over the top celebrations even if he didn't score. He got carded for that once didn't he??

I wonder where akpo is now

If my memory serves me right Sam Sodje played for us in a friendly at Purfleet(now Thurrock) last season. He looked very green and a bit of a headless chicken. He didn't impress at all and Andy did not pursue him. A good call at the time.

Mother Teresa would have had an attitude problem playing under Kinnear.
