Dear John, BBC 1 Sit Com from the 80's.
"Have you got any sexual problems"
A group of singles, with various problems.

Ever Decreasing Circles. BBC 1.
Richard Briers and his feuds with neighbour Paul.]

Quality comedy, hilarious, my fav's from the 80's, I didn't see the prog, but I bet they did not even get a mention. When BBC repeat all the tired old sit com's they seem to forget these two.

They've got the videos of this series at my local library!!
Do you remember the episode with Dazzling Darren's Mobile Disco - quality!
I'm going to get the vids out next time I go.

I remember liking Sorry (Ronnie Corbett) "language Timothy!!!", but then I was only a kid when it came out. I'd like my littl'un to see them now.

That's another one...
Fairly good for one or two series at the start...then 200 series later it's still using the same gags! Sorry FFUSA.

The same can be said for the way too long Black Adder series.

Not a fan of BlackAdder 2& 3, but I liked 1 and Goes Forth. The last episode was quality.
I happened to watch that on a coach coming back from a tour of the Somme and it was especially poignant that day.

Spaced and two pints of lager are good. YTwo pints of lager has to be one of the funniest british sitcoms of the last five years.

bbc 3 last year had a right cracker but they hid it away late,it was called Breeze Block and had Tim Healey starring in it,bloody histerical and a bit twisted.also agree about Spaced very good.

Anyone see a comedy prog on BBC2 within the last 18 months called "Eleven Storeys High" (or something like that...might have been 12, 13, whatever!) That was very good. Off the wall, extremely funny, and none of that canned laughter [****!!****].

Fawlty Towers and One Foot in the Grave made it onto German television. The people here must have a sense of humour after all!

Apparently the Germans didn't buy "The Germans" episode at the time. Still a bit touchy then. Have they shown it since, Colin?

Anyone seen Grass, with Simon Day? Episode 2 last night. It's not "laugh a minute, out-loud" stuff, being a "black comedy"...but I think it's something I'll stick with until the end.

Out of the nominations for Britain's Best Sitcom that the BBC have suggested I'm going for PORRIDGE!
I think ONLY FOOLS will win it...
...but I can watch PORRIDGE time and again when that's on!

And I haven't voted for it, because someone's making a buck out of it, aren't they!
