Liar! They never said that there wasn't a hurricane (after the event) - they said that there wouldn't be one (before the event.)

Also, I seem to recall we had only a day or two off school, dear brother.....

Now then BJR, you know I don't like to quibble, but Fokkers were used by the Germans in the First World War. Fokker himslef (Anthony I believe) was Dutch.

We had 'Spitfire' beer in our local club at the time, and our beer suppliers came in and removed all the 'ofensive' beer-mats and advertising posters.
