Nikki

There is a contract of employment - or should have been - if you were not given one then they have employed you illegally and you can make things difficult for them.

I know a guy who sued a company for breach of contract after he was sacked within 2 years when he had no access to an industrial tribunal.

But why bother - life is too short. Forget it and move on.

Board members, stewards, safety officer, board room staff, caterers, goalden goal ticket sellers, 50/50 ticket sellers, club shop staff, working party people and Roy B don't get paid for the work they do. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I work hard at avoiding Arky each home game so I can still have money in my pocket at 5pm, I work twice as hard at avoiding Softie to preserve my eardrums & I work really hard at avoiding Trikki otherwise I end up with about 300 50/50 tickets!

I dont get paid for any of that hard work Dad!

i think you will find that when Mr Butler employed anyone he made the rates of pay very clear and they were agreed and adherd to.........

not all employers have the same high standards....

The club do appreciate your efforts but feel that you should slow down a little and not work so hard.
