a very competitive game with both teams fielding several changes from saturdays line ups....appauling officialdom it has to be said but we turned the screws in the second half and goals from joe keith and simon parker (2) sent the urchins through to the next round at home to ramsgate....

 

a couple of lovely NL cameos as the maidstone manager came and 'warmed up' in front of our dug out and told the gormless lino he was a sub and colin asking donny if he was going to buy a fckn paper as donny strolled around at the back with his hands behind his back and nowt to do in the second half... grin

 

well done to all the urchins who braved the sub zero temperatures tonight and a super well done to the cheerful travelling maidstone fans who also had the estuary crossing mayhem to deal with... applause

good all round performance there number 4 made it easy for us by getting sent off what was he thinking of immaturaty on his part and dont think his team mates would have been best part pleased with him as they were still in the game seems to me all sides cant field there strongest team for one reason or another do we really need to progress any further as we cant get our strongest team out or do we concentrate on a play off spot ?
