Shame we gave the lead away twice, we need to tighten up a bit in defence dont we. Good to see us scoring regularly though.

 

Take some positives out of it and see that apart from Wingate all matches in our leagues first week looked like tight affairs.

 

Additionally, it was good that we've kicked off the season with a point on board, although 3 would have obviously have been better.

 

Need to grind in the 3pts on Tuesday now, back the boys.

Harvey was suspended, not sure about Gant, both were missed big time, & must start when fit & not suspended.

Big defensive frailties, but apart from Bastian all were new so lets hope with time they gell.

 

Great free kick from Deane who looked our best player, Crace looked lonley up front as I thought the two wide players never came inside.

 

Drysdale looked exciting when he came on, Alderton didnt look fully fit & struggled as time went on.

 

Here's to 3 points at Northwood.

 

Highlight of the day........the very welcome egg & bacon roll, well tasty. applause2
