Staines Lammas v Ashford Town

Looking forward to the start of the CCL season - anyone know when the League fixtures will be out? To quench my thirst for a bit of off-season footy, I'm popping down to Staines Lammas v Ashford Town this afternoon. Will be my first visit there; my son has decided to join me, the temptation of a BBQ burger clinched it for him...

It's a nice set up at Lammas, decent clubhouse and sounds like a tempting BBQ as well!

Thanks nut250, probably will as its only around the corner. I guess Lammas didn't go up to the Premier last season because of ground grading; are there any plans down there to improve the ground?

thats correct mate , plans are in for lights , there is also a bigger project on the go regarding the land next to the pitch , fingers crossed it will come off

Good luck, hope it all works out. You have an impressive clubhouse (seen much worse at higher levels) and a fair amount of land, and its a great location to watch a bit of footy.

Nut250, It is about time that they started to do something about the land, as it is not fair to the players that have won the division 2 yrs running . you have not been promoted , well good luck this yr,

its all in hand butts . rest assured that if we finish in the promotion places we will be going up ,

 

as for the land its a long process but its moving in the right direction and fingers crossed will benefit the whole area not just lammas
