Well I have to admit I've only been supporting CIFC for 9 seasons now and to be quite frank the only low I've seen is when we were relegated to Div. 2 after our first attempt at Div. 1

 

So I have no experience of the 'lows' that your Club have suffered. E.g loss of money/squad/managment.

 

However I'm sure we will go through some bad times. Jeff's money won't last forever/Our best players retire etc. But I tell you now, if I can be there, (I can't see into the future so I don't know what I'll be doing myself) I WILL be there. Even if I'm the old boy walking his dog around the pitch when we're stuck in Ryman Div. 2 and everyone's gone elsewhere to Billericay/Grays/Southend cause they've become Football League Clubs! <img src="/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" />

 

It's great that you're helping out your Club in ways that you are. Of course there are the like of C_O_R & Dan S. will continue to think they are the be all and end all with their comments. There are some Canvey fans that are like that too. There are only a select few that would do what you're doing for CIFC.

 

But let the banter continue, as long as we're still in the same League, (and when we're in the Conference <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />) Then the rivalry will continue to rule between ourselves and hopefully Grays & Southend too. I would love to see CIFC, 'Ricay, Grays & Southend in the same League. Then maybe the Pub Team from Essex will be not so much a Pub Team after all!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" />

Matt, if you read the Conference rules for the new set next season, we'll both be there, believe it!!!

 

As for the banter and rivalry. It'll be sooooo boring to not have Canvey in the same league as us. As you continue your current success ( <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />) and we build for long term future success ( <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />), I'm sure they'll be a time when we won't be. Then it'll be down to cup games and what a game they will be
