I can confirm the game on Tuesday was played behind closed doors, here's a match report:

Becauseican - I don't believe that Craig actually played a part in the high profile game which was apparently turned into a circus when David Beckham was down to play for Tottenham, his appearance was blocked at the last minute by LA Galaxy who were worried about security at the Spurs Lodge training ground although Beckham watched the game from the touchline:

I happened to hear on the grapevine that Beckham is unlikely to play for Spurs unless LA Galaxy can somehow be persuaded to allow him to return to Los Angeles later than the 10 February deadline they are insisting on. They want to be seen to be wearing the trousers over Beckham, who is their prize asset, not least because he has only recently recovered from the serious achilles injury which happened whilst he was on loan to AC Milan.

Does it matter if he paid for tickets or not? not like he's a little tight for money these days is it, and it has absolutly nothing to do with south mids football so who cares!
