Ref Off Ref - Strangely enough I quite like the look of Kings Langley v New Bradwell St Peter, New Bradwell had a much needed win on Saturday, albeit at beleaguered Sport London e Benfica, and it may kick start their season

NeutralFan - I'm sorry but you are being far too over zealous and I think the position of Moderator has gone to your head, you'll be growing a little moustache and clicking your heels soon. You even amended the first post in this thread as I 'dared' to mention the eagerly awaited attendance at Hatfield Town this evening.

EDIT -- I'm sure comparing me to Hitler is going help your cause! I didn't edit the first post, I usually just delete your boring repetitive drivel. There are numerous Mods that are having to put up with your rubbish... I've let this one through as it's about me but I've a feeling I'm going to be rather deletey from now on.

Tuesday 24 August

Premier Division

Dunstable Town v Langford

I have it on good authority that this fixture is unfortunately postponed tonight due to a break in at Creasey Park and believe Dunstable Town's generator has been stolen, it never rains but it pours in the SSML!

Confirmation from Dunstable Town's Website that my information was indeed correct, strange that the postponement is still not up on the Football Mitoo site!:

Dunstable Town P-P Langford

Dunstable Town's bad luck continues as some of our town's less reputable folk decided it was a wonderful idea to break in to Creasey Park and steal the armoured cables from the generators which power the changing rooms and floodlights. Unfortunately community spirit is non-existent to those cretins who've postponed tonight's game.

Town will be back in action on Saturday as they host Hanwell Town in the FA Vase 1st Qualifying Round.

To make up for having to miss the new facilities, we'll have a gallery of the new additions, and plenty of rubble, in and around Creasey Park.

Tring Corinthians 0 Aston Clinton 2

A trip to Icknield Road for my first taste of SSML action this season.

An easy victory for the visitors who yet again impressed me with the way that they play. Still the best Step 7 side that I have seen. Enjoyable evening spent in the company of efc of this forum.

A fuller report will appear on my blog in the fullness of time.

Final Score - Hertford Town 2-1 Stotfold

1st half pretty much all Hertford. 2nd half Stotfold improved & pressed on & could have had another 2 or 3 but for Lee Robinson making some good saves. Hertford hit woodwork twice in closing 5 minutes . I thought their 2 wide players Pegram & Dobben were very impressive.
