Oh them wicked Tories murdering this poor old lady !!,err not quite, for years the British taxpayer forked out so she could live rent free the government facing a ever growing benefits bill simply asked her to move to a smaller property, how many working people have lost their houses during recent years no one seems that bothered about them.Any one got any sympathy for the poor truck driver? Stephanie Bottrill obviously never considered for one moment the effect it would have on him then again someone who writes their suicide note in text speak probably wouldnt.

im always right  mate !! 86 per cent of council  tenants are on benefits, no ones that bothered about how WORKING people are suffering, they offered her another property but it was six miles away!! theres plently of decent working people having their houses repossessed no ones reporting their stories do they get offered a nice rent free council property? no chance.

Whilst it is of course very sad that the poor lady took her own life I would think there were other things at play other then her housing situation that made her take the decision to end her life. Surely a smaller home would be fairer on all and then let a family have the 3 bedroom property?

So desperate she took her own life?

Get serious

You don't take your own life because of £20 a week, you take action, you consult people, the benefits office etc etc,You speak to your son.

You get help from people, you don't take your own life unless you are seriously depressed/ill or totally fed up with life there's no way out,not because you may struggle, she obviously had deeper issues, read what the samaratens said about it!!

Cant say Im surprised theres not much sympathy from the selfish Sun reading right wing brigade for a poor woman that was so desperate she took her own life.

Don't worry Alan, it's just an excuse from the tory boys who waver between Call me Dave and Farange to abuse socialists for some obscure reason, but mainly because a woman was so disturbed over probably a number of things that she took her life. We're lucky they feel they need an excuse.

Her first target was the Tories. What's new?

A fellow RFC supporter and friend took his own life four weeks ago. He had a lot of good things in his life, and a few negative issues that he obviously thought he could never overcome. No-one will ever know what was going through his mind when he took his life but he must have thought there was no other option.

I wonder what would be the reaction from those who choose to criticise Ms Bottrill had been if one of their friends or loved ones had taken the same solution to their problems.

As if the lefties never abuse those who are more right wing?

The case of Stephanie Bottrill is indeed a very sad one, and my thoughts are with her family and friends.

It is unfortunate that because a number of people have abused our gracious benefits system over the years, that now money has to be clawed back and those who desperately need it are finding themselves in trouble.

Instead of blaming one side or the other, blame the complete pond-life who have taken benefits they were never meant to have and never given back.   An interesting comment from a girl in Gloucester today - she's 14, got 4 kids already and wants a bigger house and more money 'because I'm entitled to it.'

Hey sunshine, I didn't try to use the death of a poor woman to make this into a left versus right argument. There's a worldwide recession, whether labour or UKIP were in power any party would be finding cuts or additional taxes, none of them would be popular. However I'd have thought we can all find some compassion for anyone that affected by the things that worry her, whatever they are. Obviously in this case the media have jumped on a story that suits an agenda. There are probably dozens of people who committed suicide on the same day, where is their story?

i always like the way you stereotype all the "pond-life" taking benefits they have no need of. The weather up there on Mt. Olympus must be bracing.

He is talking about the ones that abuse the system, but don't let that cloud your view looking up mount Olympus

Really? It's hard to know Tory Boy. Any benefit claimant seems to be fair game otherwise why continually bring it up, even in this case.

She is obviously in the spotlight because of the letter

So what has that got to do with people abusing the system? I think this may be a bit over your head. Don't worry about it.

What Adam is saying, now listen carefully!!!

Is that sadly, people abusing the system probably means that the government has had to reform it's benefit strategy, hence why some people obviously feel its unfair.

As I said, don't worry about it.
