Paul Stonehouse

C'est la vie

Recommended Posts

Just read the Slough Express and Slough Observer and it seems to allude to the fact that his loan spell is up. I thought his last game would have been against Dunstable as he arrived on the 6th February?

It was announced on the 29th January that he had signed so would imagine that he actually signed a couple of days before that date.

Is covered in the preview for Paulton which should be online later, however Oxford City have recalled him a few days earlier (it was a 31 day loan to include Saturday) however they can recall after 28 days, and they have done so due to injuries and suspensions.

presumably Jhai will come back in tomorrow and in all honesty he had a good justifiable shout for coming back into the side even if Stonehouse was still available, as Stoney to me hasn't looked as good as we know he can be last few games.

Heavy pitches and recovering from injury perhaps seems to have hampered his performances slightly compared to the admittedly high standards we saw from him a few months ago.

Interesting and exciting that Bakes and Unders are already planning ahead for signings for next season and possibly this one.

In Friday's Slough Express, Unders is quoted as saying  ' that if Slough can win our next three games, then maybe we will sit down with the Chairman and talk about trying to get a couple of quality players to have a real go but our performances will dictate whether we try to get in a top player to really push us on '.

Unders is Winston Churchill, Bakes is more like David Cameron ! ha ha ha !

Let's hope our team starts winning a few !

As proven by one of Gary's excellent photo's from yesterday, Unders is caught doing the famous Churchill victory sign.

Well I hope that's what he's doing ! lol !

Standing next to the dug out before the game Unders said dont expcect a classic as the pitch was so bad with the goals incidents and Paulton wanting the points it turned out to be a very entertaining game.

Both sides found it easier playing upfield could be help from9 the wind behind them.

Our midfield struggled in the fist half but got better as the game went on.

They missed two headed sitters from close range and scott palmed a goal bound shot round the post but we had our chances as well i think a draw was a fair result.
