All from the twitter feed and reported as a comfortable win with many second half chances.  Now unbeaten for 5 games now.

That's 3 wins out of 3 over Sheerwater next meeting will be away so will be interesting.

Those looking for a late switch of game may be interested to know that Windsor v Hanworth Villa is ON.

Tooting Bec 3-1 Westside
3G pitch at Tooting & Mitcham United.
Att = 3 ! Weather - Rain receding to mizzle. very apt!
Admission - Free - Programme - None (although I did receive an excellent issue in the post in the morning from Yateley United FC).

The back 3G pitch is showing a few signs of wear now, and the floodlights aren't the best, but this didn't prevent an excellent tie between 2nd and 1st in the table.
The quality of the first half would have graced two levels higher as Bec led with a Jesus Arias strike.
Westside levelled from a long clearance midway through the second half and looked favourites to go and win but Arias netted twice more, all three were good finishes, to clinch the tie. Bec defended resolutely throughout the game. Both these sides will be up there in April/May.
Good to speak to both clubs before and after the game as it is nice to see clubs with ambition. That is what the Elite League is for after all.
Caught some footy and rugby as well on the big screen in the excellent and warm bar before and after the match.
Oh, and a good referee as well!

Great news re pitch

...and good to be able to have a following Tuesday game giving the club regular gate money and bar income, plus on the pitch the lads are adapting to the fantastic flat surface and playing some nice passing stuff and that's giving the whole team a boost.

The real benefits will kick in next season when the grass will have matured and the root system has really meshed together who knows we could be offering ground share facilities!

...if only we had done this 3 seasons ago, but now's the time to look forward!
