My Grandad, who plays cribbage with the grandad of somebody on the board at Chelmsford tells me they are about to transfer list 3 players.....

 

Actually thats b*ll*x, I looked at the Chelmsford message board <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/doah.gif" alt="" /> The 3 include Lee Williams and Sammy Cooper apparently.

I left the message yesterday in good faith. I wasn't saying that Justin Edinburgh is leaving Billericay and will definitely get the job at St Albans.

 

I said that he had applied for the job at St Albans and, from reading the back of today's St Albans Observer, he is one of several people, including Luther Blissett, Andy Lineghan, and the fella at Hendon (who incidentally are higher in the Ryman than Billericay) who are all interested in managing St Albans City FC.

 

If you wish to take the piss out of "my mate's dad who is on the board", then I guess that is your prerogative, but the cold, hards facts are that I get to hear about most things going on at our club before most people who even work for the club.

 

Either way, it would seem obvious to me that, even if Edinburgh doesn't get the job at Clarence Park, he is looking to get out of the one at your place.

 

My comments were not left as a 'wind-up'. If you choose to take them that way, then I guess that's up to you.

Another cutting comment by Thorns...Amazing what people call wit. get on a train, get pissed, get off train, go to ground, insult clubs stewards, supporters and act like an [****!!****], get slapped for the trouble, complain about behaviour of said supporters and how they should be thrown out of the League(making a passing comment that he was only joking when calling someone a "w**ker")....

This is followed up by visiting said clubs forum before visiting teams game at St. Albans, making threats of, "we're waiting for revenge" and "you won't leave the gound alive" only to add the foot note "I won't be there, I'll be in Holland ha, ha, ha"...
