They're a good side and I'm sure you won't under-estimate them, but when we went down to Devon in the FA Cup, we could have got something out of the game if we could have improved our goal-scoring record.

The best we could have hoped for was a goal-less draw and we held them til 80 minutes, but our legs went. You guys being full-time should be able to match them for fitness.

At home, if you're defensively well-organised, they're beatable. They told us they'd bring 3-400 for a replay, but expect 500+ for a Saturday match.

PS - well done on Saturday, I made £35 on those fine odds on Saturday!

(Can't believe I'm backing Ricay at the moment, but at 5/2 it's easy money!)

On seeing the draw I jumped out of my seat yelled some expletives (in a packed uni library PC lab) and was asked to leave any such disruptive behaviour to other students would result in disciplinary taken by the uni against by user account

But as said in a rather loud shouting voice a few minutes ago fukcing get in what a fukcing draw

Yes… Yes… YES !!! Anyone who really knows me will know that this is a dream come true, and if anyone was wondering then The Blues will have my 100% backing on “The Glorious 15th” and for one Saturday my Grecian loyalties will have to play second fiddle.

Now lets see what they’ve been saying on the Exeter City forum (www.ecfc.co.uk if your interested)

Postings so far include:

“Same league as Braintree I believe and they knocked out Yeading on Saturday 4-0, And managed by Justin Edinburgh”

“Also, Billericay haven't been doing too badly and as pointed out above beat Yeading away 4-0. They also only lost 1-0 at home to Stevenage in the F.A. cup a few weeks’ ago.

Definitely not a game to underestimate the opposition.”

“Not a great draw, methinks! A definate for banana skin potential!”

“It's got those three ingredients that make it an awful draw - a long away trip (for most), little if any financial gain, and a distinct possibility of an upset”

“If we (Exeter City) play every league game like we did on Saturday then we'll be lucky to stay in the conference!!!

but.. top half of table very close so a few wins on the trot and we could be in the play offs.”

Bring it on!

Oh and I nearly forgot – spying mission to sus out the oppo Tuesday 7th Dec at Dagenham and Redbridge… anyone joining me?

That's a fantastic draw for you. We played Exeter this season and they were pretty ordinary.

If you do take them to a replay then their ground is fairly decent but unfortunately away fans are not allowed behind the goal and have to go in the seated area in the main stand. The stewards when we were there insisted on us sitting down which was a major pain!!

Cracking draw... gutted that I'm going to miss it (just been on the phone to Finland to speak to the future Mrs Rannikka and she's refused to postpone <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> )

Just had a look on the Exeter message board and they all seem to have friends / relatives in deepest Essex so hopefully another bumper gate.

A tough one but winable. Like to see the squad boosted up with a couple more "quality" players though, before then. Ya know, bedded into the team and playing up to scratch...

Difficulty would be getting players that aren't cup tied. Who made an early exit from this season's comp that we could raid???

So who is going to do the news report?
