Should JC move aside?

Who is this hodgey person DO 1 you mug this is nothing to do with you

If comments from non-Towner fans are not welcome, why is this thread on the main forum rather than the ETFC forum?

Serious question, if someone with JC's track record were to leave, chances are another level 5 club would snap him up. What is the likelyhood of some ET players following him, as so often happens at this level?

I am told by the essex f.a that there are plans to play a game in late february 2005 but as of yet they have not told me who it will be against,as soon as i know it will be posted.

Regards.

Darran George.

Essex County f.a Senior Rep Team Manager.

I also cant believe what that PR$CK T S DANDY has said.

AS someone who knows & works with JC I can tell you after starting in the early hours of the morning & doing a full days work his day is only half done...

The man EATS SLEEPS & knocks his nuts off for E TOWN.

How anyone can even question his abillity at this level is bang out of order...

Do youu honestly think if you were gto get someone else in he would show the same sort of passion & commitment as JC does to the club?

I think not.....

GOOD LUCK ON SAT LADS...

Thanks for the vote of confidence there, Hornchurch JazzMag. Why not bother to read the post before chucking your hefty weight into the ring?

Nobody on here is questioning Jim's commitment, passion, or his ability to bring players to the club and long may that continue.

This is not a knee-jerk reaction to a single defeat (read the post, Steph)but a considered opinion.(not a fact)

The point is that with the players Town have had and do have, we should walk this league year after year. it hasn't happened. That's why my opinion is that we need to keep Jim at ETFC and use his strenghts but help him out by giving the manager's job (or co-managers job) so someone with some fresh ideas.

My opinion. I don't expect you to agree but I don't expect abuse for having it.

(BTW, if you know Jim so well, you'd know we were playing on Sunday, not Saturday)

Dandy, the opinion is NO. But for Saturday we were on course, but I know we have good BOUNCEBACKABILITY and will recover when Abbey have their bad patch (currently about 3 inches underwater) as I am sure they will. Trust me - their pitch may yet be their undoing.

'HOW DARE YOU THAT IS LIKE A KNIFE THROUGH MY HEART'

i do not agree southern dandy i think JC has done a top job over years and is etfc through and through.

The only question mark i have is why does he keep having the ever dangerous (sarcastic) ace on the bench he is not good enough for etfc and does not provide much competition for smithy & seb. Surley a club like ours should be able to attract a top striker e.g Leon from stansted he looks hot. Any one else agree? Chopper?

Stone Cold et al,

If we fail to win the league this year, will you keep the faith with JC? What if we fail next year? Or the year after?

Maybe I'm more impatient for the success I think we deserve but how many years of failure to win the league would you tolerate before considering change?

A couple of things I reckon:

a) Certain new members of the board have their noses so far up other's bottoms, they wouldn't want to say anything out of turn.

B) Certain people have no imagination and rely on just being a mouthy Northerner

I think you'll find the mouthy northerner doesn't hide on forums; and you will find a similar post from last season after the brentwood game, when the same cr@p was posted.

No, you'll find the mouthy northerner hides whenever there's a hint of trouble at a game. And people have started to notice.

Is it true that the board are advertising your tongue as the new club toilet paper?

Talking of Asa. I don't think Seb has shown anything yet in his 3 or 4 games with us.

I said exactly this last week, the jury is still out for me as well, first touch & movement dont look like Charlton Athletic to me, but give him time & let him get his confidence then who knows.
Got to say Deano & Smithy's work rate has been phenominal this season, love watching them play with their never give up attitude.
Hey and Deano it cant be long before one of those 35 yard shots of yours bulges the back <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif" alt="" /> of the net!!

Hi anon, my answer was directed at Darren about the league side, as for Jim, Ive got to know him over the last few weeks, he is a decent guy as is Pete who used to be at the Abbey, they know me so no probs with us. Take over, well I would say its a tough position to take over despite what people may say, the expectations are there at ETFC not where they are elsewhere in the ESL. I wouldn't have a clue, the club is big enough to keep the right man though.
