he is not playing. he spoke to jim on monday after your game. he was last at farnborough, a good player but suffered a cruciate ligament injury so hasnt played this season.

There is no resaon why every and any available channel of information should not be used, including the website, forums, local papers, match programmes, aeroplanes with banners and the town crier. Someone once said the forum was not used as not every supporter uses it. What rot. Not every supporter has access to the website or the Enfield Gazette either.

 

But information must of always be disseminated "as appropriate". While this should not be used as an excuse for secretiveness or cliquey-ness, it is obvious that potential player movements cannot be openly discussed until it is a done deal. Arguably however a matter of great interest such as this could be scotched (if applicable) with no harm dome. What is the secret in Jim NOT trying to sign a player?

 

As someone else said before, we don't rally need to know how many paper clips have been purchased (the information will of course be avaiable in the anuual accounts if anyone wants to know).

 

Maybe other stuff of minor interest could be disseminated to members (owners) via a regular - say monthly - newsletter, perhaps emailed to save costs?

How about Andy Investigating where the names on the sponsored seats have gone ? The fans have paid their money in good faith and yet still no plaques are on the seats. Has the board ever considored that NO ONE ELSE will sponsor any more seats as a result of this rip off. If the club cant afford it THEN why cant they say so.I personly would accept a single plaque on the back wall of the stand listing all the sponsors if money is that tight. Or is the money being given too Jim to waste on unreliable players such as Mr Clarke.Can Andy please give the fans a MUCH OVERDUE explanation HERE ?

I think I might have sponsered a couple of seats and I do not wish a plaque. If people want a plaq get a Dyno tape machine Andy and put it on.

 

AND IND COOPE SUGGESTED I WAS A TIGHT GIT!

 

However I do think that the suggestion of a single plaque with all names is a fairly good idea.

Money isn't the issue, deciding which seat option out of the number of potential options that may be another matter. It is a bit like taking the missus shopping to choose wallpaper really. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Returning to Daniel Clarke, for a moment; didn't he try his luck at EFC at the start of the season before Wealdstone. If they are looking at him again who is on their way out?

Andy did say the seats would be ready by xmas but never said what year !

Danny clarke hasn't featured for Enfield at all this season.He did make an enquiry into the possibility of playing for them before the vase match but it appears they dont want him either.
