A 24 year old forward, Danny began his career with Millwall, for whom he made a number of first team appearances. He moved into the non league game with Stevenage in 2000 before playing for Dover, also in the conference. He moved to Chelmsford for the 2001/02 season before playing for Crawley Town (Since joined Billericay). Now with Margate fc as from TODAY!

In his first season, Danny topped the scoring charts with 26 goals, a feat that earned him the BTSA player of the year award

Why do you say that CE.I have no one player who isnt in my good books UNLESS they fall short on a regular basis! Not sure who you are talking off!

I would rather a player remained here & gave his true showing rather than have him depart having under achieved & then to go on and show his true worth elsewhere!

Lets not go into all this again though eh!

Moved to Stevenage in Jan 2000 then bought by Dover in Dec 2000 for £7500. 12 games (+4sub) and 9 Conference goals later he was sold to Chelmsford by Gary Bellamy for £7500 in summer 2001. Spent a year there, then two years at Crawley helping them get into the Conference, before joining Billericay. Goal record of something like 2 goals every 3 games at Billericay.

 

Great signing, couldn't have done any better at this level.

Very good signing a proven goal scorer at all non league levels, lets hope he is past the injurie problems that he has had.

FF if you read the posting correctly I think you would find that Uncle Urchin was refering to Steve West who has gone to Fisher. That kind of money would not be spent by this club to entice a player at this level. Maybe when we are a few steps higher in a few years time and we have crowds averaging 1500 then maybe.
