There keeper made a good save in the last minutes in a 1 on 1 with Bertie and Hilare apparently came close at the end.

Overall i would say a draw was a fair result but Margate were very dangerous on the attack putting their defenders under constant pressure. We got had a scrappy 10 mins in the first half but so did Slough. They scored their first during our best period of the half, but we recovered well and got back on track eventually. The second half started the way the first half started with Margate threatening but not creating anything, then Slough went on to score. Since then we had most of the play and we were all over them at parts in the game.

 

The best player for us out there today i think had to Brayley kept going at all times and played some brilliant football. Another poor performance from Standen as he kept on giving the ball away which led to Sloughs second.

 

A massive improvement from last week and if we can put that something extra into the game then we can be a very dangerous side to play against especially when we are on the attack. Up the Gate

Just like to say, it was nice to see a team bringing some away fans... Even our landlords couldnt muster more than 50 or so to the game over xmas, so just a general cheers, and nice to see a team who has fans willing to travel...

I dont know what is about this league but no fans want to travel. I think Slough have been our best away support this season, that will change when Wimbledon come.

we always travel in numbers, like some sort of horrible disease
