ESU - Haven't you sobered up yet? The Ars' beat a very boring Real team. I was soooo bored by the end of the game i was ready to pull every hair out! I love to watch Henry, he is pure class, didn't know he could be so physical, that is definitely a plus.

 

But, didn't Real remind you of the old Ars' style of play? You may be too young, but for a long time there was a chant of BORING BORING ARSENAL! Shocking i know, but they played the same style then as Real do now, but without the Super Super Stars. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

 

Oh yeah, and you made history - so well done <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

think you was watching a different game,madrid were average but to go there and win is a feat in itself,you don't just go to madrid and win,whatever team they put out,as usual arsenal pull out a good result and get knocked for it!

the only thing i can say is that they should of won by 3 or 4 goals,real were stopped from playing anywhere near our 18 yard line by our defence who for the best part were magnificent,and every time the ball breaked to reyes,henry,fred or hleb we looked dangerous!

madrid are no mugs,if you have seen spanish football over the last month or so they have looked in better shape than barca,we were great last night,end of!!

had a season ticket at arsenal for 24 years,under graham they never got close to playing football the way madrid do,madrid gave the ball away,had they kept the ball more then the score may of been different but don't forget that arsenal,when the play football are a match for any team on the planet,only shame is they are only doing it in champions league games this season,they blow hot and cold like madrid do!

I'm not taking it away from you ESU. You were watching the game surrounded by footy fans and alcohol was flowing...I was on the settee supporting Real cos i like to see English play. After 8 mins the game deteriorated <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> The Ars' started to break through and i didn't want to see that. So see it from the other side........Crap!

 

You may have had a season ticket for the Ars' for 24 years, but that aint big and it aint clever. Just doing my maths, i think you cottoned onto the Ars' around the time of the tag. Either my memory is bad - or you choose to forget!

 

I'm just in an antagonistic mood tonight, so try not to bite, or Zody will never get a look in <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
