Hey, you're rude tongue I don't say that England is famous only for Wembley workers who made bets at bookies if they'll finish the stadium in the expected time <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/angel.gif" alt="" />

I could show you some equally wonderful ones, who are football fans - but no one told me if pasting photos is allowed here <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

And I still dunno what "wallop" means <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

>>>>Oh, another question - how much are the tickets at Hornchurch? And do you know any ticket collectors (or maybe some of you are them? )? Is such a hobby popular in Britain?

Tickets are £5 each and £1 for children. Ticket collecting is not very popular in England.

Very few teams issue tickets for entry. No teams in the Essex Senior League issue tickets and last season only two teams had tickets (St Albans and Sutton Utd).

Hornchurch do have tickets, but they do not have the name of the opposisiton on them.

If you want a few, send me you address and I will put some into the post for you. If you really do live in Poland, send your address off-list, by a PM.

YELLOW - and that "allowed" was about the girl from the photo, wasn't it?

Dagger04:

So how do you do the payment? You just give 1 or 5 pounds to the worker and he lets you in?

You have Premiership, Div 1, Div 2 and Div 3. What's next? Conference? Where's Essex Senior League placed? Sorry for a load of questions - in Poland it's a bit more simple (although workers of our FA are a band of idiots, thieves and assholes).

I can't take these tickets and have them sent by you "just like that". Sorry. I do, however, admire your offer - thank you! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I really do live in Poland <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> There are people here who possess internet connection, although you British probably wouldn't dream about it. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Hehe.

And how did you get the info about the tickets in the whole league? Are you a collector/FA worker/do you go to away matches?

P.S. Thanks for the comprehensive information!

Yes that was what I meant. You are allowed to post pictures on here but keep them clean. Wouldn't want to see you banned!!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

As for tickets, in non league unless the game is an all ticket match, say a big cup tie where a large crowd is expected it's pay on the gate.

Alot of grounds in the Conference give you a ticket as you go through the gate. Aldershot, Southport, Cambridge, Grays, Hereford, Woking and Burton give you tickets as you go through the gates. Braintree do as well.

I have a box full of various football, concert tickets. I even keep my flight boarding cards!! My prize possesions are my match ticket for Barcelona v Betis at the Nou Camp and Oasis at Wembley Stadium!!!

Very nice <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Did you go to the Barca match, or

Isn't that a betrayal of Canvey Island, WHU and Hornchurch? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bounce.gif" alt="" />

My prize possesions are probably Ronaldinho's autograph and the ticket from Maribor Teatanic (Slovenia) - Wisla Krakow (Poland). The match was played in 1998 and only a few people have the tickets from it. I do - got it from a fan of Widzew Lodz, who... got it from a fan of Wisla, who travelled to Slovenia to see his team play there.

You probably don't have any tickets from the matches with Polish teams (Man Utd-Legia Warsaw, Blackburn Rovers-Widzew Lodz, Man City-Groclin Grodzisk)? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I wonder how much is the ticket from Groclin-Man City (pretty common in Poland) worth in GB. It could be a nice exchange - I'd give a guy from England a ticket from Poland, and he would gimme the one from England. We both could get a really interesting item to our collections.

Unfortunately, not many people in the Western Europe are ticket or photo collectors <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Yes went to Barcelona v Betis. No it's not a betrayal of my team. If I can't make a Canvey match or there's no game I'll watch another game that's on in the area.

Why do you call Wembley "Wembree"? Sort of slang or what?

Inni me ol mate, which team do ya follow pls?

I'm a fan of Wisla Krakow (currently trained by Dan Petrescu - a Romanian who used to play in Chelsea) and Polonia Warsaw. 30km from my city is a little town, Leczna, which has a club Gornik, playing in polish first league (our first=your Premiership, our second=your Div One etc.), so I go there quite often.
In Lublin there's a team called Motor, but I've never been to its match (well, I was, but only because it was playing in my uncle's city and we were there with a visit - I was 4 or 5 then). I'm not a fan of it - I want to support better clubs - not in a sense of football achievements, but history, traditions, "climate" (in Polish "climate" is "klimat" and it also referrs to a special atmosphere - is it right also in English?)...
I know that in Britain there's a strong tendency to support local clubs, even from really tiny towns. I find it very nice and positive.
There are also several other, smaller clubs in my city (357 000 citizens).
Globally? I don't think I have a favourite team. I'm starting to be more and more interested in Celtic, because two Polish players are stars there - Artur Boruc and Maciej Zurawski.

I'm liking Hornchurch more and more because of you guys <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

<img src="/forum/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />:D:D
Well, I didn't have a chance to watch him play, but of course he's a kind of legend in here. But was he really the best? Zbigniew Boniek made a great career in Juventus and Polish Nat.Team - I think I'd rate him a bit higher. Also Kazimierz Deyna was a great player. He died in a car crash many years ago... He's a symbol of Legia Warsaw, a player who's a hero for it's fans... just see:

As a player Tomaszewski is thought to have been really great. He's called "the person who stopped England" - do you remember this match on Wembley? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
But as a person he's a total #@()#($(. He has crazy ideas about Polish football, is known in many scandals, attacks everyone, probably drinks too much...
To sum up - a person who is laughed at by most of us <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
That's how he looks today: http://img.interia.pl/sport/nimg/Jan_Tomaszewski_nadchodzi_742831.jpg

I think you asked where HFC are in the league structure - they are in Step 5 - for the full structure, follow this link - http://www.tonykempster.btinternet.co.uk/

Thank you very much <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> But I still don't understand - why don't you just have Premiership, Div 1, Div 2, Div 3, Div 4, Div 5, Div6 etc. It may be divided into groups, to place local teams together and reduce the costs of transports.

I gota few tickets Inni, but mainly the Boleyn boys Cup Finals, and losses, normally I getem autographed by one of of the players.

I have only heard of Anne Boleyn... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> What are Boleyn boys Cup Finals? A sort of local FA Cup?

What matches you been to in the London area mate?

Unfortunately, I have never been not only to London, but also to the whole GB <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

P.S. I forgot to add - I also do support Chelsea <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Is it true that it's hated by most of the British fans? Hope you won't ban because of it <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

It is a good attitude to have although people who do that tend to support non league sides.

Don't know who pikeys are <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Gyppo is probably a Gypsy?

And still don't understand anything that the Irishman writes <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Culdya, nutters? Ehh, guess I would have equal problems understanding Chinese <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I don't understand anything, but tell me - do Urchins have a chance to play in a normal (no non-league) division? Or is it just an amateur club which's playing with other similar ones?

I just read about your President, Jim Bradshaw? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Was he doing well as the most important club worker? He must have been a really nice and sympathetic person, according to photo...

Hope he's already somewhere above us...
