Well, let us wish Colin and his team all the best of luck. He has a great bunch of supporters behind him and let us not forget it IS our club. No one person makes the club, never will. We vote with our feet and pounds at the turnstiles and want to be succesful.

 

Colin deserves every chance of success and has a good bunch of players at his disposal. I've seen new managers right back to Mr Marsden and could question some of the things that go on, but they do and I still come back.

 

I only ask that our club is run in a financially astute way that does not allow the kind of disaster to re-occur that we all witnessed the season before last and that we can achieve the best we can with the resources we have.

 

Now bring on the new season.

Uncle, a few weeks back you said you didn't know why JLo had left, he had just gone giving no explanations and now you say that he did resign. Surely he would have given you an explanation for resigning!

A nice sentiment AFF and I see where you are coming from but including Mr Borg, Mr McBride will be our 7th manager (Before you start remember Mr Calder the last time we got left in the lurch?)
Stability?? I would love to see it but history in this case tells a different story.
I would love to get behind the boys, the same as I did with all the other managers and players for that matter, but unfortunately I cant do it for one season only, my memory is goin and I cant remember all these names!!

Like AFF, none of my business, but this is what I see

 

Do you guys really know what you have, in what is AFCH?

 

ffs, 18 months ago the cub nearly disappeared altogether. Luckily it didn't, OK everyone knew the madness that preceded the bang would not, and could not have lasted.

 

But lessons were learnt, and what you have now is, imo, a better club than ever before.

 

I understand that some of you were not happy with the resignation of JL, and you have over the past few months voiced that opinion. Surely its time to put that behind you now, and look forward to the future?

 

From where I stand, the future looks very bright indeed. Colin McBride is a top non League Manager, the very fact that he was willing to even consider Hx, let alone take the job, speaks volumes about Hx.

 

This coupled to the appointment of Aiden as youth development manager, and the wonderful stadium at Bridge Ave, means that you, AFCH, have the best set up in your division by a country mile.

 

All this, on a sensible and sustainable budget, which is fully funded by club activities.

 

You guys have it all, and yet you want to clash over personality issues.

 

 

Get real and... ENJOY.

With respect Mr Town Crier, you may well be right about the new staff, not doubting that, but the same was said about Mr Borg, Mr Hill,Mr Choules, Mr Lawrence.

Why should next season be any different?

Yes we may well do well and even win the league, then what?

I fear a lot of us are feeling Deja Vu and "Once bitten , twice shy"

i think its tough on both parties at the moment and hope this soon gets resolved as i have met some great people at AFC hx. it is the friendliest club i have ever had the pleasure to visit, welcomed by fans, staff and even the players! top bunch.

 

i can see why the fans would be disgruntled as they have affiliation with the players and staff and would rather keep them where as the club as a business needs success and to move through the leagues as quickly as possible. i doubt you will have many of the same players as last year but this is football.

I understand that EHM, but whats done is done, all I'm saying is, it would be a shame to let the Deja Vu feeling spoil your enjoyment.

 

Hx is a nice club, enjoyed by many. You guys ARE very luck to have that.

 

anyway, thats enough by me, it's your club, enjoy, and good luck for next season.
