I'm not great with numbers so I'm struggling with this. This is my countdown conundrum:

Reduced management costs + Increased ticket prices + increased attendances (would not be unfair to assume after a very successful season) = reduction in budget

I have zero experience in runnng a football club so do not appreciate the other factors at work here but is Gordon Brown doing our accounts

I can only think that perhaps we mis-budgeted last year or there are subsidies that were in place last season that are not so prevalent this season - which is understandable if is fact.

Just for my 2 pennies worth - I agree with others comments that this forum is not the right place for public slanging matches and it makes the club look like a circus (who is head clown I won't comment ).

I will be behind the new management team until they give me reason not to be and I will be showing my feelings in my actions at the start of next season - whether that involves not attending matches, not entering the bar, then that is to be decided once the season starts and all this calms down. I do not think this reflects on loyalty at all but it's about fans making up their own mind about what has happened and acting in their own way.

struggle no longer as you were right in one out of four..

as to what you want next season from our club...?

well we shall be open for business as we always are at the start of the season and all responsible paying supporters will be welcome...

agreed but in the long term interests of the club we had to get out of the esl in one go pronto...

so we did what we did and we achieved that...we wouldn't have done so on a self sustaining budget....

heads you win tails you lose....

who'd have a football club...

It looks like Colin brought his Filofax with him. Could be some useful contacts in there! I must say Unc they look a pretty powerful team. This new season has the potential of being every bit as exciting as the last one - and as it's at a higher level it might even be better. We could all do with a nice FA Cup run and we have some really juicy local derbies.
