foreign fields, windy fens and banana skins...

all go together to make the FA Cup what it is....a great leveller... and so it proved to be today as gale force winds swept biggleswade united......do not.. dear readers.. be fooled by the score...this was a finely balanced edge of yur seat cup tie against a lively and confident biggleswade....

the urchins triumphed as fitness and class told in the end but this was truly a day where the win was everything and scarpering to the local indian was paramount.......

well done to all of the brave..committed and hardy urchin players who ran their hearts out for their team mates..their management and the fans and sought no easy options on that foreign field....

well done also to our fantastic fans who sang to the beat of the samba.....

'gene kruper'... eat yur heart out....

indeed it will and the silly posts from last night are deleted and gone and should be forgotten....

a big game and a big crowd beckons and you can rest assured that banter will prevail and rivalry will flourish but also be assured that you will be made to feel welcome and fed and watered in much comfort as indeed everyone who visits the stadium is...

by the way....

whatever happened to LEO....

Dodgy keeper, dodgy keeper.....

Great result on a pitch affected by Katrinas little sister. The trees bent, the players stood firm and produced some excellent football under the circumstances. Biggleswade were excellent and committed, our lads got a good wake up call and for me Greg Tiffin shone out, showing the grit and determination needed to win a tie like that.

Very enjoyable day, nice oppos, bring on Redbridge.
