they won't take 150 to you, they were talking about only having 185 at home on tuesday, can't see all those making the trip to canvey, spurs are probably at home, what was their attendance on tuesday????

have been trying to find out since tuesday night!!

Town had their lowest crowd of 218 at home on Tuesday.I'm sure the Celtic/Man U game affected the gate.We are averaging nearly 300 at home this season.

PS..We take a higher percentage of our crowd to away matches than any other team at this level.I would say up between a 1/3rd to 1/2 of our home crowd also go to every away game.Compare that to Hornchurch would average 350-400 at home, but barely brought 80 fans to Brimsdwon at the start of the season.

yeah right...the police had to get a full task force on duty to shepherd us all in and out...

your crowds are actually embarrassing as you inflate them anyway whereas we like to fiddle the vat and knock a couple of hundred off each gate....

anyway...you will be a big club in time but you have to be patient...

So we inflate our crowds IN ORDER to pay more VAT?

Look back on your website, to just before the Enfield Town game and you will see loads of your fans saying 'can't make it' 'Good luck lads' 'Missing this one unfortunately'..etc..etc.I think half of your away support were still on holiday that early in the season.

I would say you take a 1/4 of your home crowd away. With is good, but not as good as us.

I'd rather have our attendances both Home & Away than some Teams in our League. Some of them are pathetic, don't know how they survive!!!!!

....Do any of you remember when our assistant manager Gary Britnell played for Enfield Town?

He played for EFC, remember him scoring the equaliser at Woking in the 1st leg semi-final of the trophy in the mid nineties right in front of me.

Isn't it Garry with two 'r's?

He's fondly remembered by those of us of a certain age, basically because of one season where he scored 20+ goals from midfield, most of them by arriving late and unmarked at the far post, and celebrated every time by giving high fives to the front row of the terracing.

Looking forward to seeing him again.

I'm excited this is a new ground for me! Sad I know!

So where are we going on the island in relation to Concord & Bowers which we used to go to regular?

Bowers play in Pitsea which is not on the Island. You'll go past that over the flyover to the "magic roundabout". Alternatively come straight down the A127 and A130.

Park Lane is at the far end of the Island and a fair distance from Concord Rangers. Your best bet is directions from the clubWebsite

As mentioned the other thing is we are right by the Estuary and below sea level. Great for watching the ships go past but when it's cold it is bitterly cold - possibly one of the coldest grounds in the country so wrap up warm with your blue and white scarves!

Enjoy your trip.

Gary played for EFC from 1990 - 1994 (wouldnt argue with you about spelling Tom but my stat sheet only has 1 r)
He made 177 appearences and scored 46 goals 12 of which were pens.

His most productive season was 90 / 91 when he scored 19 4 of which were pens. Booked 4 times and missed 5 pens out of 17. Was players player in 90 /91. and won the fair play award in 92 /93.

Also played 21 friendlies and scored 4 times in those.

Jim, having looked at your signature I decided to check out the Leonrd Stanley website. Interesting history but can you imagine my surprise when I clicked onto the news page to see the club promoting a bowling night with a picture of a naked woman ten pin bowling. Please can you explain this. Is Leonard Stanley trying to follow in the footsteps of Concord Rangers after their nautiness on their forum?!!!!
