PS On a totally different note it was good to catch up with Bill and the ressies on Sat, we caught you on an off day and only lost 3-1! Methinks if we had your keeper we'd of won that one... I have only ever posted once about the dressing room incident at Hornchurch - and that was merely to state that a break-in had happened. Football Man Posted January 1, 2008 Author Share Posted January 1, 2008 Yep, that was where I was making the point that some players live quite a distance from the clubs they play for and it shouldn't be assumed that because someone lives in a certain area that they play for a club in that area. UU came back with the post you quoted and the rest of the conversation was moved to a private discussion (you will recall UU telling you that I am capable of giving as good as I get with him). Much to your annoyance, no doubt, everyone involved has moved on from that incident and there is no mileage in it for you to try and stir things up now. Nice try, though. Manorborn - I met Johnny Flynn this morning and he confirmed that he attended the Ruislip Manor v Aylesbury Vale fixture on Saturday at Grosvenor Vale after finding out 'our' game with Sport London e Benfica was postponed. I didn't press him on what was discussed but he was very complimentary about your Club although you could have at least allowed him into your boardroom for some hospitality having travelled all that way.
