It's a long way from wanted the job and couldn't agree terms to turning it down.

 

Any senisble person would go to see what was on offer, which is what Liam did, and then decided that manageing a side in Conference north wasn't where he wanted to be.

Why would he show any loyalty to the Fleet? The club are purely his employers, he has no affinity with the club does he.

It must be awful to see the club you love (to moan about) doing so well and the manager you have said wasn't good enough being chased by league clubs because of the excellent job he was doing (while you were calling for him to be sacked).
