AFC Wimbledon have won their appeal and they have had their points reduction reduced to 3 point.

 

IMO it's a scandal. I hope they fail in the play-offs after all this!

They might be 6 points behind Chelmo, but the league being as tight as it is, anything can happen, you got hampton, billericay, bromley, chelmo and AFC all chellenging for the title, and even some of the clubs not in the top 5 can still get into the play-offs.

AFCW made the mistake and should be man enough to accept the punishment. This just sends out the message that if you cry and scream enough you will get your own way. I sincerely hope that they fail in their promotion bid.

I wonder if the FA have made a bit of a bigger mistake here. It seems to me that their ongoing argument with FIFA about the 'separateness' of the Home Nations doesn't quite stand up if you give latitude to AFCW for not recognising that separation, and make excuses on their behalf for doing so.

 

I think the FA may have overlooked the bigger picture.
