OK
We know he's gone.
But to where and why?

Don't know where.
Apparently he didn't want to be third choice when Wilko is fit again.

I can't help thinking that this isn't the real reason. I'm sure Andy would have told him that this wouldn't be the case.

Perhaps someone offered him more money? We will have to wait to see where he surfaces.

Agreed Dave, most of the people at the Canvey match were of a similar opinion.

Lee Turner is a fleet fan through and through. Im sure he wouldnt be bothered about an extra 30 quid a week or so if he was offered it away from us. Im sure he'd love nothing more than to finish his career at the team he supports.

I'd like to think you are right Matt, but what other sensible explanation is there.

Last season the club were very open and explanations were often given for what was going on. Given the confusion over Lee Turner and the fact that we are now less than a week from the start of the season, one would hope that someone from the club would make a statement of some sort......if only to settle the supporters.

If you are talking about the club making a statement about Lee's departure, then here it is:

[color:"red"] Lee Turner has left the Club [/color]

Now if you want to know why, then I'm afraid you will have to ask Lee Turner, it was his decision not the club's. <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

Whilst we deserve to be given "reasonable information", we cannot expect to learn all the ins and outs at the club - if you left your job, would you necessarily confirm the full reasons to your employer, and even if you did, would you be happy for all others linked to the employer, to be given this info? I think not - we have to be realistic and accept that we will probably not know the full reasons for decisions such as Lee's although we can always guess.

we are giving the club money...not the other way round so in this instance we are more like "the boss" or a "CEO" who you'd expect to have information!
We don't expect to know everything and i'm sure there are things best kept quiet but there are occasions where the fans are frustrated by the lack of information.I appreciate the club are very busy(especially at this stage in the season)but it still doesn't stop our frustration!

(is Pinnock midfield or attacker?)

Pinnock can play up front or in midfield. When he was on loan at Dover I thought he looked far more effective playing up front.

He's been looking pretty sharp up front so I think that will be his favoured position with us. Cheers for that, mate.

Whose "bot" is he going to be given ?? As long as its a nice shapely youthful one, I doubt that he'll be too concerned!!
