Dorking lost 3-1 to Cobham after No 1 Tom Day went off with a suspected broken wrist.

Thankfully, the tests were inconclusive.  Get back soon, Tom.

Worcester Park 2 v Redhill 4.

Lesson number 1, arrive by train, parking a pain.

Lesson number 2, pre order your burger for half time, ordered at 12 19, finished cooking at 12 38, no wonder people behind me were ordering other items....the components of the Burger had the making of a decent munch but it was not hot, like an idiot I still ate it, should have walked away, poor show.

First half it looked even until the Lobsters had a corner fest and dominated but could not get one in, later we concede a penalty, going to be one of those days.......

Second half playing up hill we looked fresher and play was more joined up, pace and height proving we could do better, at 1-2 we looked good then its 2-2 oh heck! another 2 quality finishes put game out of reach...back on track!

Talking points......the missed elbow (that caused a bit of heated debate in the stand!) that every one else saw except the ref......and in the second half the Ref seemed to blank the Lino on the dug out side for some reason (who was having a good game)

Hartley Wintney 2 -1 Camberley Town.

Another day when Camberley will be scratching their heads and wondering what to do next. The first break within 3 minutes saw Camberley take the lead and for the next 15 minutes Hartley had very little to answer with. It was looking like it could have been a result for Camberley if the game continued in that vain. However, like Saturday, Camberley began to lose their shape and were consistent in giving the ball away far too cheaply. Hartley drew level with a poke in on the goal line in a goalmouth scramble, where the Camberley defence were getting their legs tangled with the keeper who was desperately trying to gather the ball.

The Second half saw Camberley even more desperate to find their shape and again they were consistent in giving the ball back to Hartley each time they got possession. It was Hartley who scored with a good header from a cross that should have been dealt with by the four defenders who stood rooted to the spot as the ball went over them and onto a Hartley head. Camberley offered no threat at all to the Hartley goal apart from he first attack and but for a couple of quality saves from the Camberley keeper, they could have lost by a much bigger margin. Turks has got some work to do and quickly to get the side playing as a winning unit again.

Windsor 0 Walton & Hersham 0

Game dominated by two great defensive displays. Thought Walton & Hersham had one of the best defences i've seen at this level they wont concede many this season as long as they stay together. Sad to hear the young lad Williams has left Windsor for sunny Spain. Windsor's main problem as it was last year is that the team seems to change every game.

The match report from our win over Horley Town is here:

http://www.eefconline.co.uk/Fix2016.17-12.html

After Friday's result we needed to bounce back quickly and an early goal helped. Horley pushed for much of the first half but without much in the way of end product.

The second half was much more in our favour and we would up comfortable winners in the end.

Consistently inconsistent!

Funniest thing I have seen if football for a long time Epsom physio wasting time by spraying the boot of the Epsom keeper when he went down when a supporters said he was wasting time the physio let rip and said he knew what he was doing!!!! Yea I have been a First Aider for over 30 years and never knew you could treat somebody through a football Boot! Never mind perhaps it was DW40!
