"...the high level of vocal support was noticeable throughout, with the Eastside following the example set by the Riverside and getting right behind their team from the start."

Michael has been with us for a good few years now with a few short breaks and has always been a very good keeper...its true to say that we weren't at our best on saturday (although a very good worthing team contributed to that) and yes the goals were a little sloppy but that happens..our defence were not awake for the first one and Mike would not have got through the packed area to get at it...the pen he nearly got and the third was...in my opinion...poor defending when they broke and very flukey the way it dipped and swerved and I was right behind it...thumping drive though

the last one just about summed up the result...a nothing situation and all of a sudden its in the net....any other day and it gets booted sky high into row Z..

we have the best team in the ESL ...we don't have the best team in the ryman prem....but we will have when we arrive back there soon...

the team win and win together...the team lose and lose together...

Just to say many thanks for the great hospitality on Saturday, from the moment we pulled up in the car park through to leaving just before 10pm. One of the friendliest clubs I've ever been to, and as I said at the time, I couldn't believe the atmosphere after the game - real club spirit!

As for the game, I was surprised (but happy) at the scoreline. I do think if we hadn't equalised straight away AFCH may have settled and been much harder to break down.

I really do wish you all the best in the league (and other cups) and will be watching out for your results. Also hope to see a few of you down at Woodside in July for the friendly (we've got a beach, by the way...)

Cheers, Paul
