poor show from the canvey team tonight

i'm not talking about the result.

 

cracking set of fans come to visit the bridge, cheer them on noisily throughout the first half and it takes them until 4-0 to make some noise in the second.

 

cheer them until the final whistle and then applaud them and cheer them some more...

 

the canvey island team have to be told by an urchin fan to go and acknowledge the support they received... shocking stuff to see them stop in their tracks and turn back to sheepishly applaud...

 

fair play to the canvey penguin killers. shocker from your reserve team...

yes the few canvey fans were excellent and when you lot joined in with them cheering canvey it was classic eastside....

I was down that end before KO, but moved when one too many Hornchurch fans surrounded me. Thought I'd be better of with some Canvey fans and I found quite a few.

Nice one ESU. It was a good laugh last night, nice to meet a few of you lads!

 

The atmosphere was good in the stand, when the league game comes there should be some serious noise coming out of there! You'll have to do some practise to get up to our normal derby day levels (just ask Grays!)

I can officially announce that after Yellow's antics at Hornchurch, he has been handed a one match suspension which will mean that he will miss our away trip to Ware.
