.......... severe flood warnings has just been increased to 57 by the Met Office at 13:00hrs. today.

The nearest to us in the damp South-East, appear to be in Anglia and the South West. The South West probably to be the worst affected area.

What chance a game this coming weekend ?

Our reserves are off tonight (could have called it off yesterday) and they are already doubtful for Saturday.

Incidentally, we had a meeting with the council last week and they have agreed that most of the CWU flooding problems are due to the sportsground next door where drainage ditches aren't working.

Expect a massive improvement for 2008/9 season!!! bootyshake

After a very recent pitch inspection, Meadowbank looks almost definitely a non-starter for tomorrow...

No surprise there, then !

OBVIOUSLY, we await an official referee's inspection Saturday a.m.
