dont know Johnno, im resting the hammie, probably, but to be fair 3 of the back 4 where not there on sat, and the defence is our area where we need more strenght and depth. anyway no excuses lets get off that result.

 

why you not training tonight

Something important came up that i couldnt get out of. Phoned the boss and apologised. 1st training session i've missed this season.

 

Last season our back 4 was the best defence in the league up to about February/March. Conceeded less than Chipstead - but unfortunately wasnt scoring enough down the other end.

 

This season we cant keep clean sheets and conceeded far too many - same back 4 and pretty much same midfield. Why oh Why???

jonno i must say thanks for those kind words from you last night the thing is players like yourself are a managers dream,if only more players understood the work ethics of winning football matches, as i,ve said to many players in the past we can teach someone how to pass better, shoot better even head better but what we cant do is make a bigger heart becuse without the passion and pride it doesnt matter how good people think they are it will never come out,that is why so many youngsters fall by the wayside because senior football is dammed hard work
