im sorry but being the usual spy i come n find out that your 10-1 win against Enfield really made you think "wahey weve got a great team if we can win 10-1." Enfield have nothing to play for, they are already relegated. Bedford beat them 8-2 when they still had a chance. I know on Bedfords website i said i felt a bit bitter that Canvey had scored 10, but after reading messages from fellow eagles fans reminding me they have nothing to play for, i changed my mind.

We put out most of the team that had been on the bench or injured for a while.

 

There was no Potter, Crow or Dobinson - it was the next best thing to a training session for us!!

Sorry Eagles no 1 Canvey were better. They played the majority of their football on the floor, and opened us up time and time again. When we played you ,we were caught offside about 6/7 times and created plenty chances in the first half.

 

I felt that Bedford could be undone by a stronger attacking team, whereas I think Canvey were more solid at the back, athough probably still a little room there for improvement!!!

Hopefully we'll be like that next season when Cowans back with Cheners and Wardy(in my opinion, the best defence)
