doheochai 0
The Board of MyFC have just announced the appointment of the new club Chairman and the new CEO. The new Chairman of the EUFC Board is John Moules - former Chief Executive of the Football Conference. The new Chairman stated 'My role as Chairman of the Board will see me operating on a consultancy type basis one or two days a week looking at all aspects of the club and liaising with David and the administration team, helping and advising where appropriate Manager Liam Daish on football matters and using my experience to introduce new people and projects to the club to continue to build on its playing and community development.' The new CEO is David Davies - in the past Head of Field Operations in Europe, Middle East and Africa for a global computer company responsible for an annual budget of over $80million. The new CEO will be responsible for the day to day running of the club - he stated 'I know there has been a considerable amount of debate as to whether the CEO needs to come from a football-related background and there are polarised views on the subject. Well, I don

Uncle Urchin 0
anyway here it all is fresh from brooks's typwriter.... It gives me pleasure to announce the appointment of David Davis and John Moules as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the EUFC board respectively. Both were the unanimous recommendation of the entire Society board and have been fully endorsed by The MYFC Web team. Many of you will know David as an active member of the Myfootballclub community under the guise of his username

Agreed 100%. It's good to have some clarity and someone officially at the helm.
Digitalis 0
I was actually referring to this "Gadgetman" fellow... I have only met JM briefly but we'll soon rectify that. And thanks for the good wishes, I'm going in with the best intentions for the club. I think/hope the 30000 will respond positively as things start to change - the Operator will be able to focus a lot more on the website, I'll be supplying regular progress updates over there and on here too. It's an interesting challenge.

Hempstead Gaz 0
Both seem solid appointments, which should see us moving onwards - hopefully with decions actually being made rather than pontification. A big welcome to both. Hopefully Brian Kilkullen will be retained in his stadium acquisition capacity. Just one sound word - drop the PTT and leave it to Liam. It is the only flaw in the whole scheme, and while the debate rumbles on, there will continue to be discontent in the ranks. Those who want it are NOT true Fleet fans, just owners for one calender year, and tbh, the club would be better off and more unified without them. And I would sign up, too!!!
