We lost 1-0 at Woking last season in a totally uninspiring performance. I expect more of the same this year.

One year we might actually get an easy tie in this competition. Look at Torquay at home to Atherstone Town or Chipstead, Grays at home to AFC Totton, Crawley at home to Havant, and Weymouth at home to Hornchurch.

Having said that, the impossible can happen: Stalybridge lost 6-1 at home to Durham City in the last round.

Fer f***'s sake! When was that Mangotsfield game? 2001? Our last easy draw at this stage.

Not that we can't beat Woking, obviously, but when you think of our record, the kit we'll be wearing, the fact that somehow I've never been to Woking and all my first games at stadiums begin with defeats... aaaaaaaaaaaagh!

2-1 to us I reckon... wink

I think we considered Hornchurch and Chelmsford to be games we would win though, Stu - whilst they were never going to be "easy", they were against lower level teams, and we still blew it, so even if we had been the ones to draw say Atherstone or Chipstead at home, I wouldnt have been too confident of success!

True Alan, but even those were against form teams, big-spending sides and away from home, so all had potential banana skin written all over them. Kettering too to some extent.

I'm still waiting for the Fleet v AFC Totton or similar. We must be due one...!

I couldn't care less whether or not it was a disgrace, it's the losing bit that constantly gets on my wick in the FA Cup.

This is exactly why I'd be happy with a draw away from home, then we can have a bigger crowd behind us in a home replay.
